Zinc stearate V
Specialities for wood coatings and master batches
Zinc stearate V is a particularly fine, yet low-dust additive. It is used for optimizing the sandability and gloss level of wood coatings. Furthermore, Zinc stearate V finds application as a water repellent and as release agent in masterbatches.

Zinc Stearate Paste
Finma-Sil SND
Especially for waterborne wood coatings
The increasing use of water-based coating systems, also in the field of wood coatings, has prompted us to develop an aqueous zinc stearate paste. This will continue to improve the sandability of the systems. At the same time, known problems with the use of zinc stearate in waterborne systems are avoided. Improvements have been achieved in incorporation, foam formation and settling.

Biopolymeric binder
Finma HBM
Finma HBM is a natural biopolymer specially developed for cellulose-based systems and their contact closure. Its high affinity for cellulose makes Finma HBM an ideal and sustainable binder for the production of e.g. wood filler. Conventional, plastic-based binders can be dispensed with completely.
Finma-HBM can currently be produced and offered in the viscosities 1,900 mPas and 18,000 mPas. In addition, it is available in powder form (flakes).
Defoaming
Siliconi C400
100% defoamer / deaerator based on organomodified siloxanes. C400 combines high efficiency with a broad compatibility. It can be used in organic and aqueous systems. The miscibility with water is given in all proportions.
The special application advantage of C400 is its high resistance against typical influences. These can be high temperatures, extreme pH ranges (pH 2-14) and electrolytes.
