The Finmatt UV series has been specifically developed for modern UV coating systems, delivering outstanding matting efficiency down to deep matte finishes — even in 100% UV systems.
At the same time, it offers exceptionally low impact on viscosity combined with excellent runnability and process stability.

Aqueous matting agent concentrates
FINMA-SIL
Powder-based matting agents are often difficult to handle and only show their performance, if they are well-dispersed in the later formulation. This is not always guaranteed, especially in aqueous coating systems.
Our Finma-Sil product line includes a variety of water-based matting agent concentrates that target these problems. They come delivered ready to use, with optimum and controlled dispersing fineness and allow easy, dust-free handling and dosing.
Finma-Sil concentrates are also used to enhance the feel of coating surfaces. The individual products of the Finma-Sil series differ in the matting efficiency as well as in the material hardness and size of the active ingredients.
Polymeric microspheres
Techpolymer
Additives for targeted gloss level adjustment without negative effect on chemical resistance, mechanical resistance or viscosity. Especially suitable for the semi-matt to matt gloss level range, also in combination with other matting agents.

Micronized silica powder
Sylysia
Matt to ultra-matte paint surfaces require matting agents with the highest efficiency. That’s were synthetic, micronized silica of the Sylysia range come into play.
They are characterized by a controlled porosity and a narrow particle size distribution. The extensive range of unmodified or surface-treated grades makes Sylysia matting powders suitable for many modern applications.
In addition to pure surface matting, Sylysia silica are also used for other surface effects such as anti-blocking and improved printability of surfaces.

Wax-compounds
Micro-Wax
Our Micro-Wax DM is a micronized polyolefin wax used as matting agent in e.g. clear coats, pigmented printing inks and powder coatings. In contrast to ground wax powders, the particles of Micro-Wax DM are spherical and precisely controlled in size distribution. This results in application advantages such as an easy incorporation and little influence on surface resistance.
